My art class's latest assignment is to draw ourself in a costume, I decided that my costume should be Grendel, my little puppet dragon.
I don't usually scan stuff I've done in my art class, but I really liked how he's turned out thus far and I wanted to show the rest of you out there in T.V. Land. :3
Yes, he's a puppet of a dragon.. he's just fuzzy. He's got this wire and a cork attached to the end of said wire, then the cork is moved he turns his head. I got him at the Renaissance Festival about 2 years ago.
1...2..3.. aw.
He was named after the monster in my dad's faviourite story, Beuowolf (I doubt that's how you spell it but meh).
Done in water colour. ( ::had no idea water colour also came in tubes!:: )
Aww cute! I have one of those too, except mines a Jhardi cat (basically a cat with bat wings). His name is "Kitty" (because I'm that uncreative ). Anyways, great picture. I always mess up when I used paints or get frustrated. Keep up the good work.
I love those feet ^^ The colors are great, as is the position of the head & hair stuff that covers up our view of the other side of the face. Havent seen water colors from you in a long time, good to see them again. *pats you on the back*
Awesome watercolour skills!!... i guess im wrong when i think watercolour.. and i think of those cheap paints that we used in elementary or you could buy for painting at home.. haha~
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
